Before you start using Clubsmaster, make sure your devices and network meet the minimum requirements. Meeting these requirements ensures a smooth live score overlay experience and prevents unexpected issues during recording or streaming.
Supported Devices #
- Android smartphones only (Phone A: Scorer, Phone B: Camera)
- Minimum Android version: 10.0
- Recommended Android version: 12+
- Screen size: 5″ or larger for optimal scoring and display
Note: iOS support is planned for future updates.
Network Requirements #
- Recording without internet: Works fully offline
- Live streaming: Requires stable internet (Wi-Fi or 4G/5G)
- Recommended upload speed for live streaming: ≥ 5 Mbps
- Network instability may cause overlay lag; offline recording avoids this issue
Storage & Video Requirements #
- Video files are saved locally on Phone B
- Storage space needed per match:
- 30–60 min match: ~500MB–1GB depending on resolution
- Longer matches scale linearly
- Ensure both phones have sufficient free space before match start

Clubsmaster supports multiple sports with sport-specific overlays:
- Field Sports: Football, Rugby, Hockey, Cricket
- Court Sports: Basketball, Tennis, Netball, Volleyball
- Indoor Sports: Badminton, Table Tennis, Squash, Pickleball
Hardware Best Practices #
- Use a tripod or stable mount for the Camera phone
- Keep the Scorer phone within view of the match
- Plug both phones into power if recording a long match
- Close background apps for better performance
