Overview #
Navigation:
Dashboard → Account Settings → Billing & Plans
The Billing & Plans page lets you manage everything related to your Clubsmaster subscription, including:
- Viewing your current plan and status
- Tracking trial or billing periods
- Upgrading, cancelling, or resuming subscriptions
- Managing payment methods
- Updating billing address for invoices
All payments are processed securely via Stripe. Clubsmaster never stores your card details.
Current Plan Status #
At the top of the page, you’ll see details about your active plan.
What’s shown here: #
- Current Plan (Basic, Pro, or Club)
- Plan Status (Free Trial / Active / Cancelled)
- Next Billing Date or Trial End Date
- Monthly Price
- Action buttons (Upgrade, Cancel, Resume)
Free Trial Users #
If you’re on a free trial, you’ll see:
- Trial status clearly marked as Free Trial Active
- Trial end date (billing starts automatically after this date)
- Remaining trial days shown with a progress indicator
- Confirmation that no charges are made during the trial
🎉 You can cancel anytime during the trial to avoid being charged.
When your free trial ends and your subscription becomes active, the billing cycle automatically resets and a new monthly billing period begins.
Active Subscriptions #
For active (paid) subscriptions, you’ll see:
- Next billing date
- Monthly renewal amount
- Billing cycle progress bar
- Option to upgrade or cancel your subscription
🔔 You’ll receive an email reminder before each renewal.
Billing Cycle & Proration #
Clubsmaster automatically calculates billing periods and upgrades.
What this means for you: #
- Billing days are calculated automatically
- Upgrading mid-cycle adjusts charges fairly
- You never need to calculate days or refunds manually
💡 All billing calculations are handled automatically — no action required from you.
Cancelling & Resuming a Subscription #
Cancel Subscription #
- Cancelling stops future renewals
- You’ll retain access until the end of the current billing or trial period
- No immediate data loss
Resume Subscription #
- You can resume a cancelled subscription anytime before it fully expires
- Resume options may also appear on your dashboard
Payment Methods #
You can manage your saved cards under Payment Methods.
Default Card #
- One card is marked as Default
- This card is used for renewals and upgrades
Important Rules #
- If you have an active subscription, you must:
- Add a new card before deleting the current default card
- If you do not have an active plan, you can delete cards freely
🔐 This ensures uninterrupted service and prevents failed renewals.
Billing Address (Invoices) #
Your billing address is used for official receipts and invoices.
You can update: #
- Address line(s)
- City, state, postal code
- Country
Click Save Address to apply changes.
📄 Updated details will appear on future invoices.
Security & Payments #
- All payments are processed securely via Stripe
- Clubsmaster does not store your card details
- Your data is protected with industry-standard security
Common Questions #
Will I be charged during the free trial?
No. Charges begin only after the trial ends.
Can I change my plan anytime?
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time.
What happens if a payment fails?
You’ll be notified and asked to update your payment method.
Can I use multiple cards?
Yes. You can save multiple cards and change the default card.
