Terms of Service – Clubsmaster Apps (Score Controller & ScoreCast)

1. Introduction

By accessing or using the Score Controller and ScoreCast mobile applications (collectively, the “App”), provided by Clubsmaster.com (“we”, “us”, or “our”), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Applicability

These Terms apply to both Score Controller (sports scoring) and ScoreCast (screen recording & live streaming).

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. Users under 18 must have parental or guardian consent. By using the App, you confirm you meet these eligibility requirements.

4. Account Creation and Security

To use the App, you must create an account with valid login credentials via app.clubsmaster.com. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your credentials confidential, and notify us of unauthorized access immediately.

5. License to Use the App

We grant a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not use the App unlawfully or in violation of these Terms.

6. User-Generated Content

If you submit content (e.g., match scores, notes), you retain ownership. By submitting, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use, display, and share it for providing and improving the App.

Do not post content that is unlawful, defamatory, offensive, or violates others’ rights.

7. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

  • Violate any laws, regulations, or third-party rights
  • Interfere with or disrupt the App or servers
  • Engage in fraudulent, harmful, or illegal activities
  • Attempt unauthorized access to the App, accounts, or systems

8. Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) Transmission

BLE features transmit data locally to nearby devices. You are responsible for compliance with local laws. We do not track, store, or monitor BLE transmissions. Receivers of BLE data are not tracked.

9. Data Privacy and Security

Your use of the App is governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains data collection, use, and protection. By using the App, you consent to data processing as described therein.

10. Termination of Access

We may suspend or terminate your access for violations of these Terms or harmful conduct. Upon termination, your right to use the App ends, and your account and cloud data may be deleted.

11. Disclaimers

The App is provided “as is” without warranties. We do not guarantee continuous availability, error-free performance, or security.

12. Limitation of Liability

Clubsmaster is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including data loss or service interruptions, to the fullest extent allowed by law.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Clubsmaster, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

14. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted with a new effective date. Continued use constitutes acceptance.

15. Governing Law & Severability

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of UK courts. If any provision is found invalid, the remainder remains in full force.

16. Subscription Plans & Billing

16.1 Plans

  • Basic Plan (Monthly / Yearly)
  • Pro Plan (Monthly / Yearly)
  • Clubs Plan (Monthly / Yearly)

16.2 Free Trial (Basic Plan Only)

The Basic plan includes a 7-day free trial. You must provide payment details at signup. You will not be charged during the trial.

Important: By clicking “Subscribe” and agreeing to these Terms, you consent to automatic renewal and authorize us to charge your payment method on the 8th day if the trial is not canceled.

16.3 Automatic Renewal

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless canceled beforehand.

16.4 Cancellation

You may cancel at any time via account settings:

  • Before trial ends: no charges
  • After payment: subscription active until the end of the billing period

16.5 Payment Processing

Payments are securely processed via Stripe. We do not store full card details.
